This dance workshop is for all dancers and movement artists - this time emphasis on partner work. How do we build a connection with another dancer? How do we listen the impulses of other dancers, how do we receive weight and give our weight, how do we communicate with other bodies in space?

Nelody guides you through different exercises and movement concepts based on her ‘conFUSION concept’, her dance concept and artistic practise, which is inspired and built from principles from various dance styles and practises.

In this workshop I offer tools an d principles to enrich your dance, focusing on our own individual movement language and dance style. We work with improvisation and freestyle and I guide you through different exercises and movement concepts based on my dance concept, conFUSION concept.

Background: In September 2021, 15 advanced and professional dancers with different dance practise-backgrounds gathered in Berlin for my ‘conFUSION core’ dance intensive. They spent 30 hours in a dance studio labbing with me and got introduced to the core principles and tools of conFUSION concept and experimented in my guidance. The intensive was focused on each individual’s own movement language and their journey as a dancer, mover and performer.

The project was funded by Dachverbandtanz Deutschland and DIS-TANZ-SOLO.
